Our Story
Spear Sharp Limited (trading as Spear Sharp Education) was registered in May 2015 as an educational publisher dedicated to providing quality learning materials for Kenyan schools.
We began by focusing on early childhood development and KCSE revision materials, establishing ourselves as a reliable partner for schools across Kenya.
In 2017, recognizing the transformative shift to CBC, we pivoted our strategy to develop comprehensive curriculum series aligned with KICD guidelines. This strategic decision positioned us at the forefront of CBC educational publishing.
Today, with over 110 titles published and presence in more than 5,000 schools nationwide, we continue to support Kenya's educational journey. Our 2024 national tender win for Grade 8 Agriculture textbooks underscores our commitment to quality and nationwide impact.

Our Office
We operate from our own three-floor bungalow in Mlolongo Township, Machakos County—a quiet, conducive environment for editorial work located just 7 kilometers from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and approximately 30 kilometers from Nairobi CBD.
Our Spear Sharp Building is situated in Greenville Gardens, Kwa Vitabu Corner, providing a professional workspace that supports our publishing operations and team.
